His good, pleasing and perfect will..

Romans 12:2

Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.

The Greatest Equation in History  - 1 Cross + 3 Nails = 4Given
Greatest Common Factor = JESUS
”..and He Himself bore our sins in His body on the cross, that we might die to sin and live to righteousness; for by His wounds you were healed.” - 1 Peter 2:24
Even though we are forgiven for our sins, it’s a human nature to sin against God. Once we ask Jesus to be our Savior and our Lord, then we are a new creation! “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come!” - 2 Corinthians 5:17
The first passage in Romans (I recommend you all to read it) tells us we no longer need to be condemned because Jesus has taken our guilt away. We are forgiven, and JUSTIFIED. “Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, because through Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit of life set me free from the law of sin and death.” - Romans 8:1-2
As we grow in Christ we will be more like Him. Everyone’s sin is forgiven, when they stop. Repentance is the key. Repentance is a 180° turn away from sin. Sin will not be punished because it is the punishment. It is living without love.

In God’s eyes, we are justified. Justification is more than forgiveness. It’s forgiving and forgetting. REJOICE FOR WE ARE PART OF THE GREATEST EQUATION IN HISTORY! FREEDOM! :)

We are not SINLESS, but we can SIN LESS.

“Romans 6:23 says ‘the wages of sin is death’, but the gift of God is eternal life. ETERNAL LIFE IS A GIFT. You don’t have to work for it. You simply have to accept it. The gift of God is life eternal, through, JESUS CHRIST THE SON. Life eternal cannot come without Jesus Christ the Son. Life eternal is offered to you now, you can accept it, or reject it. It’s your choice. It’s ALWAYS your choice. But a man would be a fool to reject such an offer.

  • FORGIVENESS OF SIN.
  • LIFE ETERNAL.
  • GUARANTEED SALVATION.

is yours..”

- Pastor Benny Hinn

I was so occupied the previous week (simultaneous productions, script writings, long quizzes, speech deliveries at school) and been really really sick (this is my first illness for 2010, and as my friends know me, I seldom get indisposed but when I do, it’s worse that I can ever think about)  for the last three days but what made me alive is this — Dad’s been loading lots (almost all) of Benny Hinn’s videos on YouTube so I can have something to listen to when I’m in pain and something to watch to when I’m in need of the message of God’s healing power.

Well, all I can say is that God is really really amazing! I cried several times on some videos respectively and I cannot fathom how marvelous He is because of the manifestation of the Holy Ghost on every video. Truly, He is beautiful beyond description! If you haven’t experienced this majestic love from UP ABOVE, then you’re probably missing out what Pastor Benny Hinn had said. REMEMBER, IT IS ALWAYS YOUR CHOICE.

P.S. Thanks for those who prayed for me. I declare good health to everyone! God be with you all!

..Now where was I? Oh yes, back to writing my editorial article.. hahaha!

The three C's by Martin Luther King Jr.

  • Got these three short lines from one of my favorite writers, John C. Maxwell's twitter. I'll just add a little interpretation and a title, of course.
  • -
  • Cowardice ask: Is it safe?
  • Consensus asks: Is it popular?
  • Character asks: Is it right?
  • -
  • Which C are you, my friend?
  • The COWARDICE, who always fears and holds back?: (Proverbs 29 :25 - Fear of man will prove to be a snare, but whoever trusts in the Lord is kept safe.)
  • The CONSENSUS, who doesn't have his own stand and takes the stand of the world?: (Romans 12 :2 - Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.)
  • Or the CHARACTER, who values the difference between the right and the wrong?: (Psalm 1: 1 & 6 - Blessed is the man who does not walk in the counsel of the wicked or stand in the way of sinners or sit in the seat of mockers. For the Lord watches over the way of the righteous, but the way of the wicked will perish.)
  • -
  • Now think again, which C are you, my friend?

Law Abiding Citizen
Starring Jamie Foxx and Gerard Butler

“A man who loses everything, is capable of anything.”

Technically:
Excellently written - if a prisoner can outsmart the whole city including the president, then the storyboard writer can totally outsmart the audience.
Great cinematography
Plot relayed well - amazing story = amazing plot
Audio-visual effects - thumbs-up. (There was this scene that made me really really shocked. Unpredictable scenes for the win!)
Keeps you thinking.. and thinking.. and thinking.
Acting was plain that makes it a good one.
Explosions + Hi-tech equipments + Witty Prisoner Tactics + Suspense + Drama + How-on-earth-can-he-possibly-do-that-reactions-of-mine + Foxx + Butler? = Epic Movie
The movie is relatively about:
Family (ironically, yes)
Justice, justice, justice (not just in the states but also resembles the justice system here in the Philippines)
The doomed frailty of the justice system - You’ll love the court room scene! (Clyde Shelton (Gerard Butler) vs the judge) Just wonderful script right there.
How prisoners can totally outwit the Government justice system (FBI and Police departments also)
..and predominantly - Revenge
Here’s definitely a lesson that we ought to know:

“Repay no one evil for evil, but give thought to do what is honorable in the sight of all. If possible, so far as it depends on you, live peaceably with all. Beloved, never avenge yourselves, but leave it to the wrath of God, for it is written, “Vengeance is mine, I will repay, says the Lord.” To the contrary, “if your enemy is hungry, feed him; if he is thirsty, give him something to drink; for by so doing you will heap burning coals on his head.” Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.”
— Romans 12:17-21

“Do you think your wife and daughter will be happy if they’ll know you’re killing in their name?” - Nick Rice (Jamie Foxx)
LET GOD DO HIS JOB! The movie could have been better though. :)
