It’s a stormy season in the Philippines and the situation is getting out of control already. Just because natural calamities are humanly impossible to be controlled. Still, I know God is in control and  He will protect the Filipinos because our country is His and so are we. Asking everyone to help us pray for those who are affected of the previous typhoons. Thank you very much!And I will leave you all with this beautiful message (based on the verse in the photo):  “The heavens declare the glory of God. The skies proclaim the works of His hands. Day after day they pour forth speech; night after night they display knowledge. There is no speech or language where their voices are not heard. Nature is God’s first missionary. Where there is no bible, there are sparkling stars. Where there are no preachers, there are spring times. Where there’s no testament or scripture, there is a testament of changing seasons and breath-stilling-sunsets. If a person has nothing but nature, then nature is enough to reveal something about God. As Paul says, the basic reality of God is plain enough. Open your eyes, and there it is. By taking a long and thoughtful look at what God has created. People have always been able to see what their eyes can’t see, eternal power for instance, and the mystery of HIS divine being.” - Max Lucado, When Christ Comes  I am looking forward to see people seeking Him after seeing His goodness through the situation. How Great Is Our God by Louie Giglio

“This Psalm 33 that talks about the Star-breathing God, it says — “For he spoke, and it came to be; he commanded, and it stood firm.” (verse 10) That’s power at all!

But now it gets very personal— “From heaven the Lord looks down and sees all mankind; from his dwelling place he watches all who live on earth. He who forms the hearts of them all, and is INTIMATELY ACQUAINTED with everything they do.” (verse 13-15) 

And then He goes even further and He says, ”the eyes of the Lord are on those who fear him, on those who hope is in his unfailing love..” (verse 18)

And here comes His promise — ”..to deliver them from death and keep them alive in famine.” (verse 19).”

WOW! That’s how great our God is! Just can’t hide my excitement for the upcoming Passion Manila on the 25th of May! The wave is growing into a global awakening! :D

  • Got these three short lines from one of my favorite writers, John C. Maxwell's twitter. I'll just add a little interpretation and a title, of course.
  • -
  • Cowardice ask: Is it safe?
  • Consensus asks: Is it popular?
  • Character asks: Is it right?
  • -
  • Which C are you, my friend?
  • The COWARDICE, who always fears and holds back?: (Proverbs 29 :25 - Fear of man will prove to be a snare, but whoever trusts in the Lord is kept safe.)
  • The CONSENSUS, who doesn't have his own stand and takes the stand of the world?: (Romans 12 :2 - Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.)
  • Or the CHARACTER, who values the difference between the right and the wrong?: (Psalm 1: 1 & 6 - Blessed is the man who does not walk in the counsel of the wicked or stand in the way of sinners or sit in the seat of mockers. For the Lord watches over the way of the righteous, but the way of the wicked will perish.)

Dove Evolution Commercial

This is an advocacy campaign of Dove for real beauty that once won in Cannes Film Festival (as far as I know) some time ago. Watch and make yourself realize.

Our world today, tends to stereotype ‘real’ beauty into something that can be altered, something that can be bought, and something that can be distorted. “No wonder our perception of beauty is distorted.” - 100% sad truth. Who else agrees? (I raise hand)

For us not to be conscious about beauty, 1 Samuel 16:7b says, “The LORD does not look at the things man looks at. Man looks at the outward appearance, but the LORD looks at the heart.”

God loves you for who you are because you’re special. Claim your real beauty everyday and just be yourself.

“I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are your works; that I know very well” - Psalm 139:14 — May this be the prayer of our hearts.
