How Great Is Our God by Louie Giglio

“This Psalm 33 that talks about the Star-breathing God, it says — “For he spoke, and it came to be; he commanded, and it stood firm.” (verse 10) That’s power at all!

But now it gets very personal— “From heaven the Lord looks down and sees all mankind; from his dwelling place he watches all who live on earth. He who forms the hearts of them all, and is INTIMATELY ACQUAINTED with everything they do.” (verse 13-15)

And then He goes even further and He says, ”the eyes of the Lord are on those who fear him, on those who hope is in his unfailing love..” (verse 18)

And here comes His promise — ”..to deliver them from death and keep them alive in famine.” (verse 19).”

WOW! That’s how great our God is! Just can’t hide my excitement for the upcoming Passion Manila on the 25th of May! The wave is growing into a global awakening! :D

“Romans 6:23 says ‘the wages of sin is death’, but the gift of God is eternal life. ETERNAL LIFE IS A GIFT. You don’t have to work for it. You simply have to accept it. The gift of God is life eternal, through, JESUS CHRIST THE SON. Life eternal cannot come without Jesus Christ the Son. Life eternal is offered to you now, you can accept it, or reject it. It’s your choice. It’s ALWAYS your choice. But a man would be a fool to reject such an offer.

  • FORGIVENESS OF SIN.
  • LIFE ETERNAL.
  • GUARANTEED SALVATION.

is yours..”

- Pastor Benny Hinn

I was so occupied the previous week (simultaneous productions, script writings, long quizzes, speech deliveries at school) and been really really sick (this is my first illness for 2010, and as my friends know me, I seldom get indisposed but when I do, it’s worse that I can ever think about)  for the last three days but what made me alive is this — Dad’s been loading lots (almost all) of Benny Hinn’s videos on YouTube so I can have something to listen to when I’m in pain and something to watch to when I’m in need of the message of God’s healing power.

Well, all I can say is that God is really really amazing! I cried several times on some videos respectively and I cannot fathom how marvelous He is because of the manifestation of the Holy Ghost on every video. Truly, He is beautiful beyond description! If you haven’t experienced this majestic love from UP ABOVE, then you’re probably missing out what Pastor Benny Hinn had said. REMEMBER, IT IS ALWAYS YOUR CHOICE.

P.S. Thanks for those who prayed for me. I declare good health to everyone! God be with you all!

..Now where was I? Oh yes, back to writing my editorial article.. hahaha!

No one can take your identity away unless you give it up.

Ptr. Joseph Bercero, Youth Alive N10CFYD Camp 2009 - DNA at Lipa, Batangas

Our flag and ID’s in the camp symbolized our identities as campers. The moment that the staff (YA Leaders) get their hands on to those things, that goes to show that we are careless about our identities. There’s a punishment whenever a staff gets hold on a camper’s ID or a flock’s flag.

Pastor Joseph was talking about our identity as a Christian. The staff symbolizes the enemy that has interest on our identities. The enemies want to steal it and destroy it, so we must take good care of our identities and never be careless about it. It’s a great privelage to be a child of God; we must guard it 24/7.

Crucifixion Rites, Cutud Pampanga

WHAT JESUS DID ON THE CROSS WAS ENOUGH for us to be saved. No one (Not even any crucification processions!) can ever substitute that great sacrifice. “Greater love has no one than this, that he lay down his life for his friends.” - John 15:13
Jesus is the sufficient Savior - No one else can set us free, only Jesus. (“So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.” - John 8:36)
Jesus is the only Savior - No one else can give us salvation, only Jesus. (“Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved.” - Acts 4:12)
Jesus is the divine Savior - No one else has never sinned, only Jesus. (“For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men. It teaches us to say “No” to ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright and godly lives in this present age, while we wait for the blessed hope—the glorious appearing of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ, who gave himself for us to redeem us from all wickedness and to purify for himself a people that are his very own, eager to do what is good.” - Titus 2:11-14)
Jesus is the able Savior -  No one else was able, only Jesus. (“When the disciples heard this, they were greatly astonished and asked, “Who then can be saved?” Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.” - Matthew 19:25-26)
Jesus is the permanent Savior - No one else lives forever, only Jesus.  (“Now there have been many of those priests, since death prevented them from continuing in office; but because Jesus lives forever, he has a permanent priesthood. Therefore he is able to save completely those who come to God through him, because he always lives to intercede for them. Such a high priest meets our need—one who is holy, blameless, pure, set apart from sinners, exalted above the heavens.” - Hebrews 7:23-26)
Jesus is the accessible Savior - No one else is available 24/7, only Jesus. (“All that the Father gives me will come to me, and whoever comes to me I will never drive away. For I have come down from heaven not to do my will but to do the will of him who sent me.” - John 6:37-38)

      The Vision of Exchange

      • *Vision of Pastor Jose Ramon "Josef" Zabarte III of Words of Life Christian Ministries Inc. located at Greenhills. He was our guest speaker yesterday, at Word of Hope Church's Youth Alive Ministry's 21st Anniversary. This conversation between Him and Jesus Christ is a really blessed vision. I can't resist but to share. This is just something that I can still remember so forgive me if it isn't that exact.
      • -
      • Ptr. Josef: I was praying when God gave me a vision. Jesus and I were talking and this is how the conversation goes.
      • -
      • Jesus Christ: Josef, I have a problem.
      • Ptr. Josef: What is it Lord?
      • Jesus Christ: I'm nailed and crucified.
      • Jesus Christ: but the problem is, I am not dying.
      • Jesus Christ: I can't die because I am not a sinner.
      • Ptr. Josef: What do you want me to do Lord?
      • Jesus Christ: Well Josef, I have an idea.
      • Jesus Christ: Let's exchange positions.
      • Ptr. Josef: How?
      • Jesus Christ: Give me your SIN, and I will give you my RIGHTEOUSNESS.
      • Jesus Christ: Give me your CONDEMNATION, and I will give you my ACCEPTANCE through the hands of my Father.
      • Jesus Christ: Give me your SICKNESS and I will give you my HEALTH.
      • Jesus Christ: Give me your CURSE and I will give you my BLESSING.
      • Jesus Christ: Don't worry son, the cross is not a tragedy but a victory.
      • Jesus Christ: IT IS FINISHED.
      • Ptr. Josef: Then Jesus looked into the sky and said "Father into Thy hands, I commit my spirit. And then He died.
      • Ptr. Josef: After that, I was still standing there near the cross but completely healed. Nothing has changed, I didn't grew taller, I'm still who I am. But the difference is I am not a sinner anymore. We had an exchange. Jesus took all of my nothingness so I can be redeemed. I became a new creation.
      • -
      • That's what exactly happened at the cross. Jesus took our sin and we became righteous, we became healed, we became acceptable in God's eyes, the curse was gone. We had an exchange with Jesus and we became a new creation. "Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come!" - 2 Corinthians 5 verse 17
