I don’t know about you, but I want to have a fruitful life :)
“I am the vine; you are the branches. If a man remains in me and I in him, he will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing.” - Jesus (John 15:5)

If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be given you.

— John 15:7

That’s what our sweet and loving God said. JUST DO IT :)

Wasted. Not. Really.
What’s the best gift I’ve received this Christmas? The photo says it all — LIFE. The fact of being alive.
Thank You, God for giving your only son’s LIFE.
Thank You, Jesus for giving Your LIFE at the cross to redeem everyone’s LIFE.
Thank You, Jesus for being alive, for living in me, and now I can totally say that I have LIFE.
And the bonus part is - I’m living it to the full. Still, because of Him! :)
I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.
-John 10:10b
This is me, shouting to all of you with love, “Merry Christmas and a blessed new year ahead!” (Hoping that you won’t get frightened with my face, hahaha!) Enjoy the break, guys! We deserve it. God bless us, everyone!
P.S. Might not post something until I get back from Youth Alive N10CFYD Camp. My year ender’s gonna be fun and exciting! I would expect for a revival and renewal of myself. A transformation for the new year that awaits me. And yes, sorry for the awesomeful photo haha :p

The day the sky turned black and red.

December 10, 2009 - Manila: Firefighters say a massive fire in a Manila slum has killed two young brothers and left about 15,000 people homeless. The dead include two brothers aged 1 and 3 who were trapped on the second floor of their home and could not be saved. - Gulf News
I’ve witnessed this tragic accident. :(
As I am waiting for a ride, I saw in a not so far place how this little fire emerged to big flames covering Manila with a large dark smoke. You know how traffic works in the Philippines, right? Then I was having a hard time looking for a ride.. that gave me more time to watch how the fire spread along Manila. I was devastated for I know that that place was most probably a slum area. I don’t know what to do with one half of me telling myself to go there and help (because no help was coming yet) but the other half’s telling me it’s too dangerous. I don’t know why but ever since I learned how life in Manila goes when I started college in the University Belt, I tried to pray for the place almost everyday.
People were trying to take pictures and trying to have a better look of the place so I was surrounded mostly by students. I was disappointed to hear some of them laughing and kidding about the fire. It’s no joke to experience hell even for some point of time. It’s no joke to lose all you have worked for during a fire. It’s no joke to lose a loved one during a fire. It’s no joke to experience a fire accident. No joke at all.
Bottom line was, I was able to get a ride after I’ve heard sirens of police men and fire fighters from afar. Well I can say that God wants me to worry no more because my ride was just in time with the help that the victims were needing all along.
I learned a day after, that classes in FEU were cut because the university was becoming hot then.
I’m posting this so everyone would pray for the victims of this accident. They need help, so let’s send them help by praying. God works when we pray. When we call unto Jesus’ name.
John 14:14 says “You may ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it.”
Now, try to imagine how this people would celebrate the holidays? What is Christmas for them after having experienced this tragedy? Christmas is all about giving. And if we are not that able to reach them, God can. So prayers are all we can give to them.
Have a merry merry Christmas, everyone! :)

Crucifixion Rites, Cutud Pampanga
2007

Photo by Akira Liwanag (Dude, I hope you don’t mind, this photo of yours made me reflect on something, hence, the re-blogging.)
WHAT JESUS DID ON THE CROSS WAS ENOUGH for us to be saved. No one (Not even any crucification processions!) can ever substitute that great sacrifice. “Greater love has no one than this, that he lay down his life for his friends.” - John 15:13
Jesus is the sufficient Savior - No one else can set us free, only Jesus. (“So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.” - John 8:36)
Jesus is the only Savior - No one else can give us salvation, only Jesus. (“Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved.” - Acts 4:12)
Jesus is the divine Savior - No one else has never sinned, only Jesus. (“For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men. It teaches us to say “No” to ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright and godly lives in this present age, while we wait for the blessed hope—the glorious appearing of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ, who gave himself for us to redeem us from all wickedness and to purify for himself a people that are his very own, eager to do what is good.” - Titus 2:11-14)
Jesus is the able Savior -  No one else was able, only Jesus. (“When the disciples heard this, they were greatly astonished and asked, “Who then can be saved?” Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.” - Matthew 19:25-26)
Jesus is the permanent Savior - No one else lives forever, only Jesus.  (“Now there have been many of those priests, since death prevented them from continuing in office; but because Jesus lives forever, he has a permanent priesthood. Therefore he is able to save completely those who come to God through him, because he always lives to intercede for them. Such a high priest meets our need—one who is holy, blameless, pure, set apart from sinners, exalted above the heavens.” - Hebrews 7:23-26)
Jesus is the accessible Savior - No one else is available 24/7, only Jesus. (“All that the Father gives me will come to me, and whoever comes to me I will never drive away. For I have come down from heaven not to do my will but to do the will of him who sent me.” - John 6:37-38)
