A man trapped in a woman's body. Full time Student. Full time Minister. Pledged to follow and to lead.

An Athlete of God. I lead, dance, perform, minister, serve, share, love and live for Him alone. An advocate of His goodness despite imperfections of the human race.

"Your insights and idealism is admirable"

  • **This is a chat conversation between me and Sir Carmelo Jose Gutierrez, my Radio and TV 100 (RTV100 - a third year student-subject) professor. He is also an Executive Producer of GMA7 News & Public Affairs Department and a good friend to all of his students. He won't be teaching this sem though. Feel so grateful to the Lord for instilling the "insights and ideals" my prof was referring to. ^_^
  • Sir Melo: hey hey hey
  • Jeah: Hi sir!
  • Sir Melo: hi there jahaziel how are you?
  • Jeah: I'm fine sir, 4th year na talaga ako. Nagtuturo po ba kayo this sem?
Go Sir!
  • Sir Melo: tamuhhhh!!!! alam mo naman...too many work...can result to mediocrity...not only work will suffer but the kind of wisdom and learning a person could impart sa academe
  • Jeah: Wow, I like what you said sir! I agree with you. Minsan we also have to learn to say no para makapagproduce ng quality work sa mga existing commitments natin
  • Sir Melo: yes...actually I was torn to decline the offer to teach sa academe...I needed a month to think pa nga..but I have to weigh things...during your batch when I taught your class...nakafocus ako...eh kapag naging absentee ako...its my failure din sa magiging product ng mga students later on...
  • Sir Melo: kaya nga Im sooo proud of your class..2 classes lang hinandle ko but Im sure and I proved na happy ako sa output at result niyo...its the quality not the quantity
  • Jeah: Perfect!
My bosses were also happy sa kind of students I handled and sa inyo lalu na
  • Sir Melo: OMG...alam mo akala ko urban legend lang yan...pero coming from you...ibig sabihin totoo yan...nangyayari talaga yan?...sorry ha kasi naman wala akong ka-close na prof sa Feu...after class umuuwi na ako...talagang mag-chikahan tayo sa FB di ba..
  • Jeah: hahaha thank you sir for imparting what you know sa amin na hungry ang thirsty for right education Hahaha hindi po urban legend yan maraming ganyan. though sa FEU mass comm, proud to say na nabibilang naman sa kamay yung tamad na prof, halos lahat naman magagaling. Hehe..Haha oo nga po eh.
  • Sir Melo: you know what...kaya ako nagturo dahil nga na-a-alarm na ako sa mga masscomm students na di nag-wo-work sa tv..not only in FEU but in general...nakakasad lang kasi...the educators who are suppose to teach eh sinasayang yung window of opportunity...
  • Jeah: Opo, lalo na ngayon dedicated ang mga bata to learn, to explore things, to really work in a field na gustong gusto nila, at sayang kung di mapupunan yun ng mga taong puedeng makatulong sakanila
  • Sir Melo: alam mo para kang "old soul" in a modern era...Im sure...magiging guro ka din in the near future... the way you talk...your insights and your idealism...is admirable
  • Jeah: Wow Sir, that's so much for a compliment. Tapos coming from you pa! Gusto ko rin naman po maging teacher. I have a passion for teaching bata palang ako. I always feel na unfair ako pag may alam ako tapos di ko nashe-share
  • Sir Melo: tama yan...you have the right attitude...right reason...and right path...I do share those idealisms...kaya nga galit ako sa madadamot lalu na sa nalalaman nila...
  • Jeah: Haha. Thank you ulit, sir. Ang saya naman! I also like to share my thoughts lalo na po kung may ma-iinspire at mamo-motivate ako na tao to do something that can change lives and eventually change his surroundings, his community and the world
  • Sir Melo: wait...nagpupuyat ka hija? may pasok ka ba tom? naku you better catch some sleep and rest...at bata pa kayo (nanay?)
  • Jeah: Haha, may ginagawa pa po sir.. Ikaw po maaga pa ang work tomorrow (nanay rin?)
  • Sir Melo: Aww..sorry for making istorbo hehehe. Yeah, still checking the scripts of my team
  • Jeah: No sir di naman istorbo. Go lang sir haha
  • **Sadly, we were not able to end it with our goodbyes because of the faulty Facebook chat. Haha. Praise You Lord!

FAULT LINE(YOUTH ALIVE-CORBAN WHEELS CONCERT 2011)|JUNE 11, 2011
“Not to us, O LORD, not to us, but to your name be the glory, because of your love and faithfulness.” Psalm 115:1
I consider this event as one of the nights I should remember. I mean, not only an event to remember, but a SEASON to remember. From the preparation of the concert til the day of the concert, the grace of God reigned in our lives. We learned more how to be more dependent on Him. That this season is not for us but for Him. Let me share to you some of the pictures of the concert. =)

It’s a stormy season in the Philippines and the situation is getting out of control already. Just because natural calamities are humanly impossible to be controlled. Still, I know God is in control and  He will protect the Filipinos because our country is His and so are we. Asking everyone to help us pray for those who are affected of the previous typhoons. Thank you very much! And I will leave you all with this beautiful message (based on the verse in the photo):

"The heavens declare the glory of God. The skies proclaim the works of His hands. Day after day they pour forth speech; night after night they display knowledge. There is no speech or language where their voices are not heard.
Nature is God’s first missionary. Where there is no bible, there are sparkling stars. Where there are no preachers, there are spring times. Where there’s no testament or scripture, there is a testament of changing seasons and breath-stilling-sunsets.
If a person has nothing but nature, then nature is enough to reveal something about God. As Paul says, the basic reality of God is plain enough. Open your eyes, and there it is. By taking a long and thoughtful look at what God has created. People have always been able to see what their eyes can’t see, eternal power for instance, and the mystery of HIS divine being.”
- Max Lucado, When Christ Comes

I am looking forward to see people seeking Him after seeing His goodness through the situation. I love how nature agrees with me when I say, “all things are made beautiful by the Lord!” Whatever the weather is, God will be glorified. In everything, give thanks. :)

Ability is not enough to enable us to reach our potential. Opportunity alone will never get us to the top. Knowledge is a great asset, but comes up short helping us “be all that we can be.” Even putting together a good team is not sufficient. Passion is the difference-maker.

Honestly, I don’t even know how they come up with dates and whatnot and warn humanity and tells that the “BIBLE GUARANTEES IT”. Here’s the sample of the picture that’s making people around the world fret. Googled it.

Warning people about the return of Jesus Christ is good, if the motive is to share what He has done on the cross for the forgiveness of our sins and the redemption of our lives. But stating dates as judgement day? No way.
Here’s one of the many stories about it.

Bible Points To May 21 As Judgment Day

In support of Family Talk radio’s claim that the end of days is near, one Staten Island man has recently put his entire life’s savings into purchasing advertising to support the claims. 60-year-old Robert Fitzpatrick is in support of the organizations claims that the Bible points to a May 21 Judgment Day.
Fitzpatrick talks about the belief and the mathematical system that is allegedly highlighted in the Bible that points to May 21, 2011 as the end of the world in his book, ‘The Doomsday Code.’ The man spent $140,000 to display the advertisements on placards at subways and bus stops throughout the city. Along with Family Radio’s founder, Rev. Harold Camping, Fitzpatrick believes that an earthquake will occur May 21 that will leave Earth uninhabitable.
Camping has made several predictions for the end of the world in the past, including one date in 1994.

ECCLESIASTES 5:8 says “Whoever obeys his command will come to no harm, and the wise heart will know the proper time and procedure”.
I do hope we all pray for a wiser heart and focus on sharing the Gospel rather than warning the people wrongly. Yes, the the Lord’s return is near and will happen quickly. The most important thing is that we are prepared for it the moment we received Jesus as our personal Lord and Savior. The next thing that we should be ready of is that we’re allowing God to use us as instruments to get others to be ready too.
REMEMBER, NO ONE KNOWS.
If you believe the May21- end of the world thing, I suggest you should start making upright decisions in your life TODAY. Join us at Youth Alive youth service and celebrate the life that God made possible for us. Saturdays at 5PM, Word of Church in front of SM North Annex. See you!
- - EDIT: As of 11:50 PM of May 20: Few more minutes and a false prophet will be identified. “And many false prophets shall rise and deceive many.” - Matthew 24:11

Who’s the judge? The judge is God!
Why is he God? Because he decides who wins or loses, not my opponent!
Who’s your opponent? He doesn’t exist!
Why does he not exist? Because he is merely a dissenting voice to the truth I speak!
